23 March 2020 Latest COVID-19 update

';

In line with Welsh Government measures to control the spread of Covid-19, Headlands School will be closed from 20 March 2020 until the 6 April 2020. We will be considering this time as the Easter School holidays. Due to the needs of our learners and families we feel it is important to continue to provide on-site education. However, because we need to establish social distancing in-line with government expectations and the wider pressures on organisations, this will be on reduced basis.

Our reduced time-table for our day pupils will provide 2 days of on-site education between 10.00am to 2.00pm. We have prepared learning packs and a range of distance learning experiences for pupils to access when they are learning from home.

Our residential care provision will remain open and we will be providing 5 days of on-site education for both our 52 week and term-time residential learners.

We appreciate that the next few months will be an extremely challenging time for all of us providing services for vulnerable children and young people. The situation is changing rapidly and we will respond accordingly to the needs of our learners as we receive further guidance. We will remain in contact with you in relation to any changes, and please contact us if you have any questions regarding the information provided here.
