A Taste of Wales

Headlands School celebrated St. David’s Day with the event ‘A Taste of Wales’.  

Pupils and staff from throughout the school came to the Café to sample Welsh delicacies such as cockles, leeks, faggots and Welsh cakes.

The event was again co-ordinated by Year 12 pupil, Phillip Preston.

A massive thank you must go to local Penarth business, Thompson Family Butchers, who kindly donated a variety of Welsh meats to the event to allow pupils and staff to sample them.
