Covid-19 National Day of Reflection

On Tuesday March 23rd the Lower School took part in the COVID-19 National Day of Reflection.

The purpose of the day was to mark the one year anniversary since the beginning of the first lockdown and to remember those who lost their lives to Covid.

The pupils also discussed what else had been lost during the pandemic; “normality”, “independence” and “freedom” being talked about a lot.

Pupils took part in activities which involved making rainbow signs of remembrance and yellow hearts as well as some rainbow themed food prep tasks.

The staff have been so impressed today at the levels of thoughtfulness which have been displayed by the youngest pupils in the school.

We have remembered those who were lost and celebrated those who have helped so many.
