It is a tradition for Group W and Headlands School to support a charity at this time of year. We believe this helps build empathy and understanding for people who may require some support over the Christmas period.
This year we have decided to support a shoe box appeal for elderly people in care homes that have little or no family.
As it is Headlands School’s 100th birthday this year, we are aiming to give boxes to those who are approaching 100! The things we are looking to be donated are:
- Warm socks/scarves
- Christmas cards
- Food such as Christmas puddings/jams/speciality tea bags/mince pies etc
- Handmade ornaments and craft
- Chocolate (any!)
If you would like to donate you can either send in any items or make the boxes at home with your child/children.
We would be grateful for any donations. Please can all donations need to be given in to Group W by 18th December 2018.
Thank you for your continued support.
