On Tuesday 20th November, Headlands School hosted the Wales version of Action for Children’s Dragons’ Den. Projects from all over the UK came to the school to present their pitch to the Dragons. On the panel were Julie Bentley (Chief Executive), Claire Melia-Tompkins (Head of Stakeholder Communications), Siobhan Corria (Head of Inclusion), Brigette Gater (National Director for Wales). Joining them on the panel were Philip Preston (P16 pupil) and Thomas Wade (past pupil/volunteer). Feedback from our visitors was that “the staff and youngsters were all absolutely ace and could not have been more welcoming”, and that the two pupil young dragons were fantastic and were very professional throughout the process. We hope to support this fantastic event in the future.
